Masonry Parging and Repair
Why Parging is Needed
For older or aging structures, parging is particularly important as it addresses existing cracks, gaps, and other imperfections that can lead to further deterioration if left untreated. By sealing these vulnerabilities, parging reinforces the structural stability of the masonry, safeguarding it from further damage caused by moisture, temperature fluctuations, and freeze-thaw cycles.
Benefits of Parging
- Waterproofing: Protects masonry from water damage by sealing cracks and preventing moisture infiltration.
Enhanced Aesthetics: Covers rough or damaged masonry surfaces, creating a clean, polished appearance.
Structural Support: Fills cracks and gaps, strengthening masonry walls and preventing further deterioration.
Thermal Efficiency: Adds an insulating layer that improves energy efficiency and reduces heating and cooling costs.
Pest Control: Prevents pests from entering through gaps or damaged areas in masonry.
Cost-Effective Maintenance: Extends the lifespan of masonry, reducing the need for frequent repairs.

Every Masonry Project Helps Support Our Teachers
With the business owner's wife being a full-time school teacher, we choose to donate a portion of our earnings to Teachers' Treasures, an organization that strives to put high quality school supplies into the hands of teachers and students at schools within Marion County. They also offer 60% or higher free and reduced lunch rates. In 2000, the "free store for teachers" opened in the basement of Washington Community School near the Westside of Indianapolis with a dedicated staff of volunteers began seeking product and financial contributions which could be used to provide teachers with the educational supplies and materials needed by the children in their classrooms.
